A mala is a set of beads commonly used by Hindus and Buddhists for keeping count while reciting, chanting, or mentally repeating a mantra or the name or names of a deity. They are sacred and beautiful and can be worn as a necklace or wrapped around your wrist multiple times. Mala necklaces are made with 108 beads and a  guru bead. They can be made with fewer beads, such as 18, 27 (called a Quarter Mala), or 54, which would require the user to make several rotations to complete their full meditation. The number 108 has spiritual significance as it is believed that we have 108 lines of energy in our bodies which converge to form the anahata, or the heart chakra.

This mala is made with 6mm, high-quality, natural Blue and Honey Tiger Eye stones and a 20x40mm oval, Yellow Dendritic Opal guru stone. It is strung on marigold colored C-lon thread and hand-knotted between each stone. The luxe 3.5" tassel is silky and navy blue. Decorative gold spacers lie above and below the guru stone as well as at the quarter points of the mala. It is 20.5" in length.

Blue Tiger Eye is a stone for protection, power, and perseverance. It fills the aura with a fiery confidence. It will push you to reach new heights while remaining grounded and focused. It opens up the third eye to bring calmness, and intuition.

Honey Tiger Eye brings brightness and optimism to a situation, and shines insight onto problems.

Yellow Dendritic Opal is a birthstone for the month of October and is a lucky talisman for the Leo zodiac sign. In the Middle Ages, people thought these stones held mystical energies, allowing whoever held one to see their truest self. Nobles would carry them as a status symbol. It corresponds to the Crown Chakra.
